Children between the ages of five and eighteen may be issued a library card after completing an Application for Borrower's Privileges and obtaining a signature of a parent or guardian on the application.
Permanent cards are renewed every two years.
The Library should be notified of any change of address or telephone number.
Lost or stolen cards should be reported immediately.
Initial check out of materials is limited to four items per card. Successive check-outs may total 8 items per card.
Fines for overdue items, lost or damaged materials must be paid to retain library privileges.
Books, audio CD’s and DVD’s are circulated for a two week period and may be renewed twice.
Overdue fines for books, CD’s and DVD’s will be assessed at the rate of 15¢ per day, per item.
The Library will provide free service to all persons residing in Texas in accordance with Library policies and procedures as of September 2001. Identification must prove residency within the State of Texas.
Visitors from out of the State of Texas may be issued a Courtesy Borrower's Card which are valid for six months.
